Sourcing and attribution
Original stories should identify material sources and distinguish verified reporting from analysis or opinion. Curated news retains publisher attribution and links readers to the source.
AI-assisted work
Automated tools may assist with research organization or drafting. AI-assisted drafts enter a moderation queue and must be reviewed before publication. Automation does not remove our responsibility for accuracy, sourcing, originality, or corrections.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected promptly. Substantial corrections should be disclosed on the story with an updated timestamp and a concise explanation.
Independence
Editorial decisions should not be determined by teams, leagues, data providers, advertisers, or commercial partners. Sponsorship or affiliate relationships must be labelled clearly.
